I don't know what else to say, but that I have a strange addiction to tuna salad. For some reason, I have made it myself on limited occasions, strangely thinking that good tuna salad was reserved for fine luncheon restaurants. Then I whipped some up today off the top of my head, and holy cow! It was SO good! I wrapped it up in some romaine lettuce and stuffed my face, secretly wishing I had made two more of these tuna roll-ups instead of putting the leftovers in the refrigerator.
Tuna, even canned tuna, is a great source of protein, selenium, omega-3's, B vitamins, and iron. So enjoy a healthful lunch that's equally delicious.
Tuna Salad
1 6 or 7oz can of tuna
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 TBSP sweet pickle relish
1/2 celery stalk, sliced thin
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/4 tsp celery seed
dash of garlic powder
Drain tuna, place into bowl and flake with a fork. Stir in mayonnaise, relish, celery, mustard, celery seed and garlic powder. Serve.
